Refreshing avocado tuna salad is almost everyone’s favourite salad in summer with lunch or dinner. Mostly, classic tuna salad is made by mixing mayo and tuna together but today we are here with a twist in the recipe. The combo of avocado and tuna is super healthy as a side dish. Avocado tuna salad is full of protein you can enjoy this mouthwatering salad in brunch or even it will be so delicious as an evening snack.
Tuna Salad Recipe
Ingredients
- Two cans tuna
- Two table spoon lemon juice
- Two large avocado
- One table spoon black pepper powder
- One large cucumber
- Two table spoon olive oil
- One large onion
- Salt as per taste
- One bunch cilantro
Instructions
For making avocado tuna salad, wash onion, cucumber and avocado under tap water. Then cut them one by one using a sharp knife.
Then in a mixing bowl add sliced avocados, onion, cucumber, chopped cilantro and canned tuna. Give them a good mix using a spoon or spatula.
Then pour olive oil and lemon juice into the bowl. Sprinkle salt and pepper over salad and mix them until well combined.
Serve delicious tuna avocado salad. You can serve it along with pita bread or you can also enjoy it in a sandwich.
