Preparing Filling
Step 1 Sautee Onion & Flour
For making chicken bread recipe, in a pan add butter and let it melt on medium flame. Then add chopped onions into the butter and sautee them for 2 minutes. Once the onions are done, add all-purpose flour and sautee it until it changes color.

Step 2 pour Milk & Spices
Secondly, pour milk into the sauteed flour and onion and whisk it to avoid lumps. While whisking the mixture add salt and black pepper to the mixture. Let it cook for 2 minutes or until the mixture is smooth enough.

Step 3 Add Chicken & Cook
Finally, add boiled and shredded chicken along with olives and coriander to the pan. Then cook them over medium-low flame until the chicken soaks in the milk mixture. Once the chicken bread filling is thickened take it off from the flame and set it aside for later use.

Preparing Dough
Step 4Mix Wet & Dry Ingredients
For preparing chicken bread dough, take a wide mixing bowl and add all dry ingredients into the bowl. Add flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix them thoroughly using a whisk. Then pour oil, milk, and water into the bowl. Mix them together using a whisk or a spatula.

Step 5 Knead the dough
Now using your hands knead the chicken bread dough. Keep kneading it until it the lumpy dough turns into a smooth dough. You can gradually pour water if needed.

Step 6 Shape & Let it Rise
Once the dough is smooth enough, put it on a flat surface and using your hands shape it into a round ball. Now cover the dough with a lid and leave it for 1 & 1 ½ hour in a warm place to rise.

Step 7 Roll & Let it rest
After the dough turns double in size, knead it again with your hands. Then dust the surface with flour and roll the chicken bread dough with the help of a rolling pin. Then let again cover it with a towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Finally, it's time to assemble dough and chicken filling for chicken bread recipe. In the middle of the rolled dough, evenly spread chicken filling. Then on both the right and left sides make horizontal cuts.

Step 9 Make Braid & Brush with Egg
Now lift the right cut and lay it over the filling, then lift the left cut, and lay it over the right cut. Then repeat the same pattern and make a braided pattern of the chicken bread. Finally, brush it with egg and milk mixture and sprinkle nigella and sesame seeds over the braided bread.

Step 10 Bake the Bread
Put the bread on a greased baking tray and bake it in preheated oven at 180 C for about 20-25 minutes.

Step 11 Serve Chicken Bread
Once the chicken bread is ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool down on a wire rack. Now slice the warm chicken bread and serve it with Kashmiri tea.

Tips
- You can also add one egg to the dough to make it soft.
- You can use chicken or beef mince for chicken bread filling.

- During cold weather chicken, and bread dough may require double time to rise.
- If you are using dry yeast for dough then mix it separately in warm water before adding it to the flour.
