- Two cups water
- One cup milk
- Two tablespoon grated ginger
- Two pieces green cardamom
- One piece cinnamon stick
- Three tablespoon black tea powder
- Sugar as per taste
Instructions
Take a milk pan and fill it with two cups of water. Then put it over medium flame and add grated ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon stick into it. Boil them for 3 minutes or until the water turns light yellowish in color.
After the water turns its color then add black tea powder into the milk pan and let it boil for 5 minutes or until it turns deep brown in color.
Once the water with tea powder gets boiled, pour milk into the pan along with sugar. Then cover the lid and turn the flame to low. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Remove the lid and turn off the flame. Strain the ginger tea into the cups and serve it hot with snacks. You can also sprinkle some cinnamon powder on top of ginger tea before serving.
